Make the record impossible to ignore.

Americans for Accountability works to defeat Donald Trump, the MAGA movement, and the Trumpist candidates who carry their agenda into the House, the Senate, and the presidency. Our weapon is the public record: what they said, what they did, and where it is written down.

Why we exist

Power answers to the public when the public can see the record.

  1. 01

    Public power

A member of Congress or a president acts in the public’s name: votes, bills, filings, statements.

  2. 02

    Public records

Nearly all of it is written down somewhere official. Scattered, dense, and rarely read.

  3. 03

    Public scrutiny

We find the record, read it in full, and put it where voters can see it, with the source attached.

  4. 04

    Public accountability

A voter who can see the record can act on it. That is the point of everything we publish.

We exist to defeat Donald Trump and his movement in 2028, and to defeat MAGA and Trumpist candidates in elections for federal office across the country. We do it with evidence. Every claim we publish is tied to a public record a reader can open: a roll-call vote, a bill, a court filing, a financial disclosure, a transcript. We are independent of every campaign and party, we publish our sources, and we disclose our money.

National scope

Every office that answers to the whole country.

The committee works in federal elections only. A project may concentrate on one state or district; the organization does not.

  • The presidency

Defeat Trump and his movement in 2028

The presidential contest is the center of gravity. The committee documents the record of the Trump movement and of any candidate who seeks to continue it, and puts that record in front of voters.

  • The Senate

Defeat MAGA candidates for the Senate

Senate races decide confirmations, oversight, and whether a president is checked. The committee works in Senate contests where a Trumpist candidate has a record voters should see.

  • The House

Defeat Trumpist candidates for the House

House members vote on the record hundreds of times a term. The committee compiles those votes and statements, district by district, and pays to show them to the voters they represent.

How a claim is built

The claim. The record. The analysis.

Every item we publish separates what a record shows from what we conclude. Here is the shape, using the one record we can vouch for completely: our own.

Illustration · Real record · About the committee itself

1 · The claim

Americans for Accountability registered with the Federal Election Commission on October 22, 2026.

A claim is one sentence, dated, and never published without the record beneath it.

2 · The record

FEC filing

Americans for Accountability registered with the Federal Election Commission on October 22, 2026.

FEC Form 1, Statement of Organization, filing FEC-2038561

Federal Election Commission docquery.fec.gov

The committee’s Statement of Organization as filed through the FEC’s electronic filing system. It names the committee, its treasurer, and its depository.

3 · The analysis

What the committee concludes: the registration is public, so the committee’s contributors and spending will be too, on the schedule federal law sets.

Analysis is labeled as ours. A reader can accept the record without accepting the conclusion.
